Description
This healthy twist on tartar sauce will quickly become your favourite dipping sauce for fish. The best part? It's made without sugar. Keto tartar sauce for the win.

- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (traditional, paleo, vegan or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon of dried dill or 3 tablespoons of fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon of dried parsley or 3 tablespoons of fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
- 1 tablespoon chopped capers
- 1/4 teaspoon dijon mustard
- Juice from 1/2 lemon, approximately 3 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
If you have a food processor:
- Add all ingredients to a food processor and combine for roughly 30 seconds.
- Transfer the mixture to an airtight container.
- Allow sauce to sit in the refrigerator for one hour before serving for most flavour.
If you don't have a food processor:
- Add all ingredients except the capers and pickles to a small mixing bowl. Whisk until thoroughly combined.
- Finely chop dill pickles and capers. Add to the mixing bowl and combine.
- Transfer the mixture to an airtight container.
- Allow sauce to sit in the refrigerator for one hour before serving for most flavour.
Notes
- Dressing too thick? Add water to thin the dressing.
- Dressing too thin? Add more mayonnaise.
