Description

Protein shakes are an easy way to get a nutritious meal in fast. They can provide everything you need— protein, healthy fats, vegetables, and fruits—all in one convenient package. This vanilla protein powder recipe gives you a shake that checks all those boxes and more. It's also incredibly tasty. 


Ingredients

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 2 cups frozen spinach
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup frozen peaches
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1/2 lemon squeezed
  • 1 handful ice

Instructions

  1. Add liquids to blender, including the water and lemon juice.
  2. Layer on powders, in this case the protein powder and ground flaxseed.
  3. Next add the frozen ingredients. Start with the frozen spinach, then follow with the frozen peaches, banana, ginger and ice. 
  4. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds. This will vary based on your blender, so blend until you reach your desired consistency.
